In the first game of single elimination play on Sunday, Australia defeated USA Schutt Elite 2
1. Melainie Roch of Australia scatted three hits for the
win. Simmon Morro provided the runs for Australia with a
second inning home run. USA threaten in the bottom of the
sixth getting two aboard before Roch struck out Natalie Hodgski to end the
inning.

Game 10
Canada scored in
the second inning, with Jackie Lance scoring on a Cindy Eddie single. Venezuela tied the game in the fourth
scoring a run as the result of two walks, a HBP and a single by Maria Soto. Canada scored what turned out to be
the game winner in the fourth with a bases loaded walk. Venezuela threaten in
the fifth with a runner on third, but Canada bought in Kaila Holtz in relief to
stop the threat and held Venezuela to one more runner to end the game.

Game 11
In the Championship game,
Australia scored quickly with 5 runs
in the first, four coming in on Natalie Titcumes grand slam to center. Canada got one run back in the second
on a Cindy Eadie single. Australia scored two more runs and
coasted to the Championship. A fine defensive play by second base Fiona
Crawford on a ball hit up the middle stopped a potential
Canada rally. Brooke Wilkens picked
up the win for the Australians.
